9. SMS Communications
Hammerly contractors may collect their customers' mobile phone numbers when scheduling a service appointment. With the customer's consent (collected directly by the contractor at the time of scheduling), Hammerly sends appointment reminder text messages (SMS) on behalf of the contractor to the customer's mobile number.
What we send
- Appointment reminders (typically one message the day before the scheduled service)
- Maximum frequency: one SMS per scheduled appointment
- We do NOT send marketing, promotional, or advertising SMS
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS we send. Once you reply STOP, you will no longer receive reminder SMS from Hammerly. Reply HELP for help.
SMS data handling
Phone numbers and SMS-related data are used solely to deliver appointment reminders. We use Twilio (a third-party messaging provider) to transmit SMS. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in / opt-out information are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes and are never sold.
